Cornwall International Male Choral Festival

"The World's largest Male Choir Festival"

Lady Mary Holborow
Joint president 2003 -2015, Vice President 2015 -2017

It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Lady Mary.

When in 2002 Dr Roy Wales had the vision of creating an International Male Choral Festival in Cornwall one of the first people he approached was Lady Mary, the then Lord- Lieutenant of Cornwall. With her enthusiastic support, the first festival took place in 2003 with herself and Michael Galsworthy as our joint Presidents.

Our continued success owed much to her valuable advice and continued heartfelt support .
